Insha'Allah

Insha'Allah is a movement devoted to peace, non-compulsion in any faith, and the recognition of equality across race, gender, and sexuality within Islam. Insha'Allah is a spiritual refuge for Muslims and interested non-Muslims who may feel unjustly marginalized within their own communities. Insha'Allah and its members seek to reveal and embody positive representations of Islam through education, as well as through intra- and inter-faith dialogue.

Our chief goal is to foster a safe space for the discussion, practice, and study of Islam. At present Insha'Allah's is more of a virtual community, with intermittent meetings (in Atlanta) and no consistent space or house of worship. Insha'Allah is working, however, to purchase land and construct come-as-you-are mosques across the United States. Such mosques would be open to the public and would not preclude entry based on choice of attire or other superficial delineations. The mosques will maintain integrated services, in which men and women of all faiths will be welcomed into one shared space. Insha'Allah, with the help of all of our members, we will one day be able to build and open many such places of worship throughout the world.

Insha'Allah is the philosophical foundation that led to the formation of IMAN, the International Muslim Action Network.
